In this video I explain my Top 5 Tips on how I made great income as a 6-year veteran truck driver. You are really a good driving instructor
New to flatbed and loving it
Great video. Thanks for posting. I have stopped at that truck stop while travel. Nice place.
The fact you used a cringe song makes this video unwatchable
Get him cuomo
Hey you cant look outside the window like that😂 this isnt for students
Haha what school did you go to?
@bigrigpro763 160 academy and regret going
Great information
Thank you needed this
Have you tried the 42 speed one. They use it in fast and furious.
I have not
Drive a day cab and eat and sleep at home.
Been there. Done that.
I got my CDL 3 weeks ago and set up to take a road test tomorrow for a job I really want nervous because I’m new but came here to get some more tips
Esa mierda no sirve la pones a la par de un climber bueno y no gana
Awesome video and thanksfor sharing.
Congratulations you passed right under no problem 😊🎉
Monteagle was my first mountain solo. I was nervous, I smelled hot brakes and thought I was gonna die. However, it was the truck in front of me. His trailer brakes were smoking and creating a nice smoke screen all the way down. He eventually pulled off to the side once things leveled out, but he was booking it down the hill.
I didn’t see a tug test but everything else was awesome 👌🏽
Man Ellijay, GA! I was birn and raised there. Still live here! Hope you liked it.
I see you went to Pilgrams Pride!
Thank you muchly for your tour.
Thx BUT I wish people would add the rpm’s to float from one gear to the next up n down. Other wise classic
its completely truck dependent. i drive a 2010 argosy with a 13 speed, and ive gotta shift the bottom 4 at like 1100 and then the top 4 at 1700, whereas i know most pete's with 13 spd's shift consistently at 1500. on flat, interstate ground if you shift anywhere between 1300-1600, you'll generally be okay, anything lower than 13 you risk the chance of bogging the truck. once you learn the truck, all its quirks you'll have a much better idea of what to do.
Hey bro gud evening how are you one quick question when backing up a 28ft container is it the same concept as the 53 ft. I would love if you could do a video on backing a 28ft step by step video
So what matters is the wheelbase of the chassis. A shorter wheelbase for the tandems on a 28' trailer will make the trailer turn faster than a trailer with the tandems further back toward the trailer. The concept is exactly the same except turning the trailer on a shorter trailer will occur more rapidly than a longer (like a 53' trailer). So I recommend going slow when backing a 28' trailer.
Ok thank you appreciated
🎉❤❤❤❤ love this nice and easy 👍🏼👍🏼God Bless you🙏🙏
Thanks
Monster mean bean is awsome. Best energy drink
These back in maneuvers are not even required and trucking school they just have you do offset parallel and straight back
Not all schools are the same. Mine required these various angles.
@@bigrigpro763 Yeah the school does but what about the DMV test
I started in 1971, retired in 2016. Many memories good and bad. Glad to see the respect you drivers are getting now!
Thank You for your Service to America!!🇺🇸 My mother used to say: “Without truckers we’d all be barefoot and hungry!” She explained to us how truckers supplied all of America with what we need to survive.
Great video needed those tips
Interested

Your shifing and splitting, but your not mentioning about taking off your foot on the Accelerator ??
Hopefully you have a back brace for the repeated packing as it will take a toll on your back besides that great video
How many hours of sleep did you get? Seems like you came in late and left super early.
Clear and concise. Nice job.
I like your videos .very educational
Do you drive it like a 10 speed .. but split under a heavy load?
Yes if I'm empty
Liked 👍
Please explain proper jake brake usage going down a grade with rain . None of this was taught at school . Didnt get much training for rain or snow.
Easiest way is to practice.
Sorry give me an automatic
Haha
@bigrigpro763 don't get me wrong, as a youngster I always wanted to drive big rigs, I have driven double axle box trucks. But at my age it just looks to confusing.
Is that full throttle?
Oh yes. Has to be or else you won't climb well.
@@bigrigpro763 Thanks! How many hp is the truck's engine?
We have 2 of these trucks and has totally changed the game . Twice as fast and Twice as safe
They are absolutely amazing. What company are you with?
Thank you for the video!
Why don’t use cameras ???
No Sugar + working out + intermittant fasting.
How many gears in that truck.
7 total gears
If you want a real challenge, try backing up a loaded straight bore tanker. If you dont do it right, you get a surge in the tank that tries to push you in the opposite direction. That makes the cab rock n roll.
Great video! But maybe include tug test.
One issue that I have started addressing with shippers and receivers is the space between dock and front of the truck. Safety standards require 140’ of space from front of docked truck. Many of these places park trailers in the staging area which creates unnecessary hazards for drivers.
